VA PolyMkII is a virtual analog bitimbral polyphonic synthesizer available for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The synth offers a 16-voice engine, a variety of effects, a sequencer, and tools for audio visualization. It can be used as a stand-alone application or as an AudioUnit Extension (AUv3), with support for Ableton Link, MIDI connectivity, and audio file export.

The synthesizer comprises two 8-voice synth engines with two oscillators, two ADSR envelopes, resonant high-pass and low-pass filters, and an amplifier per voice. The oscillators feature continuously variable waveform shapes and extensive modulation options. The filter design is based on the classic analog sound of Sallen-Key and cascaded OTA circuits. The effects section includes delay, chorus, flanger, reverb, EQ, and compressor. Additionally, the sequencer allows for piano roll editing and parameter automation to create up to 16-bar patterns per clip. Project files can be saved on iCloud Drive for easy access across iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices.
